Learning Fees

To make learning TM open to as many people as possible whilst covering our costs, the fee for learning is income-related.

Our course fees cover the full six-month programme, teaching you the technique and helping you become thoroughly self-sufficient in the practice.

Most payment methods are accepted and it's also possible to pay with instalments. Please discuss individual circumstances with your local teacher.

Standard fees:

• £590: individual income over £40,000 pa
• £490: individual income over £25,000 pa
• £390: individual income under £25,000 pa

We offer a 15% discount on the combined fees for couples.

Once a course has commenced refunds are not possible.

Concessionary and student fees:

• £290 (concessions: students aged 18 and over in full-time education, registered unemployed, state pensioners, and cases of special need)
• £190 (ages 10-18 in full-time education)

Scholarships may be available in exceptional cases. Please speak with your teacher.

Learning fees for couples, families and children

• Couples learning within 3 months of each other receive a 15% discount on their fees (see above).
• Families learning within a 3-month period: each parent pays the full fee appropriate to their own income (see above) and all dependent children under 18 living at home learn FREE. The same applies to a single-parent family.
• Children under 10 learn a technique specially suited to their stage of development. Their fee, when not learning as part of a family is 25% of the fee appropriate to the main parent or guardian. One parent is required to practise Transcendental Meditation when their child learns.
